Ned Nwoko denies assaulting Regina Daniels, alleges drug abuse and violent behavior:
Billionaire businessman and politician Ned Nwoko has publicly addressed recent social media allegations accusing him of physically assaulting his wife, actress Regina Daniels, vehemently denying the claims. Instead, Nwoko alleges that Regina Daniels is struggling with drug and alcohol abuse, which he claims is the root cause of their marital problems.
“I have other wives apart from Regina Daniels. Have you ever heard any of them say I beat them before? Regina is the bad nut here, taking drugs and damaging properties,” Nwoko stated in a statement released to the press.
Nwoko expressed concern over what he describes as a troubling change in Regina’s behavior, alleging that her supposed addiction has led to violent outbursts and property damage at their Abuja residence.
“Regina was not always like this. Her current battle with drug and alcohol abuse is the root of our problem. She must continue her rehabilitation program, or I fear for her life and safety,” he added.
According to Nwoko, he has made multiple attempts to assist Regina in seeking professional treatment both domestically and internationally, including a proposed rehabilitation program in Jordan. However, he claims she has refused to cooperate.
Nwoko rejected reports that he physically assaulted Regina during a domestic dispute, which surfaced alongside viral videos and photos of damaged vehicles and shattered windows. He accuses Regina of being the aggressor, stating, “Now she has moved to a place where she will have unrestricted access to drugs… Regina is the violent one here, slapping and hitting three staff members in the past 48 hours and destroying property for no just cause.”
He further claimed that the recent turmoil in their home was linked to an incident involving their son, Moon, alleging that Regina prevented medical care for the child. “While I was taking our son to the hospital, chaos broke out at home. A clear-headed Regina would have taken Moon to the hospital herself, but instead, she threatened to kill our resident nurse for exposing her drug abuse,” Nwoko claimed.
Nwoko also accused a woman identified only as Ann of being one of Regina’s alleged drug suppliers, describing her as “a tiny evil devil.”
As of this writing, Regina Daniels has not issued a public response to these allegations.
