Lawyer Sammy Gyamfi, National Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and Acting Managing Director for the Precious Minerals Marketing Company (PMMC), has strongly endorsed the recently unveiled budget, positioning it as a crucial instrument for fostering development and opportunity in Ghana.

Sammy Gyamfi’s remarks spotlighted the budget’s commitment to decentralization and youth empowerment as central pillars for national progress.

Speaking on TV3’s New Day show as monitored by Newspalacegh.Com, Lawyer Sammy Gyamfi asserted that the budget embodied the NDC’s vision for a thriving Ghana. “This budget reflects our firm belief in empowering communities and creating pathways for young people to succeed,” he stated.

“It demonstrates the NDC’s commitment to building a more equitable and prosperous nation.”

Lawyer Sammy Gyamfi particularly emphasized the significance of the 100 million Ghana Cedis allocated for stipends to assembly members. “Investing in our assembly members is investing in the very fabric of local governance,” he declared. “By providing them with the necessary resources, we empower them to effectively represent their constituents and drive development at the grassroots level.”

He further lauded the budget’s emphasis on youth employment, highlighting the planned investments in the National Apprenticeship Program (300 million Ghana Cedis), and the Coders Program (100 million Ghana Cedis). “These programs represent a comprehensive strategy to equip young Ghanaians with the skills and opportunities they need to thrive in a competitive global economy,” Gyamfi explained.

Gyamfi concluded by urging Ghanaians to embrace the budget as a “blueprint for progress,” emphasizing its potential to transform the nation under the leadership of John Mahama and the NDC.
