The GH₵5 million defamation suit filed by actress Martha Ankomah against comedian Kwadwo Nkansah, known as LilWin, has been settled out of court. Following a closed-door hearing, LilWin has been ordered to pay Ankomah GH₵300,000 in damages.
The lawsuit stemmed from a widely circulated video in which LilWin allegedly made derogatory comments about Ankomah’s profession. Ankomah rejected LilWin’s initial public apology in December 2024, deeming the remarks harmful to her reputation, and proceeded with legal action.
