Just In; Akrofuom in turmoil as residents rise up against party executives over female DCE aspirant’s exclusion

A storm is brewing in Adansi Akrofuom, Ashanti region, as residents demand the immediate inclusion of Mrs. Cynthia Antwiwaa, a female DCE aspirant, in the NDC vetting process.
The residents, who are outraged by the apparent sabotage of Mrs. Antwiwaa’s candidacy, claim that some party executives, led by Chairman Gariba Mohammed Mustapha, are deliberately sidelining her.
According to the residents, Mrs. Antwiwaa submitted all necessary documents to the constituency secretary but was shockingly excluded from the vetting list.
The group believes that Chairman Gariba, who is eyeing the DCE position himself, is behind the sinister plot to discredit Mrs. Antwiwaa.
The residents argue that Mrs. Antwiwaa’s contributions to the party’s victory in the area cannot be overstated. “She contributed to over 50 percent of the NDC’s victory,” one resident claimed. “We know her capabilities, and we will not stand by and watch her being sabotaged.”
The group is urging the regional authorities to intervene and ensure that Mrs. Antwiwaa is included in the vetting process. They warn that if she is not given a fair chance, it will affect the party’s fortunes in the next election.
