Dr. Frank Amoakohene, the Ashanti Regional Minister-designate, has outlined a comprehensive plan to improve healthcare delivery in the Ashanti Region.

He identified three major challenges faced by underserved communities: lack of health facilities, poor road networks, and inadequate health information.

Dr. Amoakohene’s plan includes establishing health centers and chip compounds in communities without access to healthcare facilities, upgrading existing hospitals, and providing health education programs to empower communities to make informed health decisions. He also aims to improve road connectivity to ensure that communities have access to healthcare facilities.

By addressing these challenges, Dr. Amoakohene aims to establish an efficient and effective healthcare delivery system in the Ashanti Region.
