Peter Boakye shortlisted for Atwima Nwabiagya South MCE position, pledges development and youth empowerment:

Peter Boakye, an aspiring Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Atwima Nwabiagya South in the Ashanti region, has been shortlisted among the final three candidates by the Ashanti Regional vetting committee of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The other two finalists are Boateng Derrick Owusu and Wisdom Osei Boamah.
Boakye expressed confidence in his chances of becoming the MCE and pledged to prioritize equitable development and youth empowerment in the district. He highlighted the area’s developmental challenges under the previous government and vowed to address them.
As a long-standing native of the area, Boakye believes his knowledge and understanding of the community give him an edge in bringing peaceful development. He promised to be accessible to everyone, regardless of their background, and to create employment opportunities for the youth.
Boakye’s vision includes unified development, attracting more people to the NDC, and making the party and the area proud. He hopes to be appointed by President John Dramani Mahama.
