Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah, the Lands Minister-Designate, has reiterated his commitment to transparency and accountability in land management, emphasizing that it is ethically wrong for a minister to allocate state land to themselves.

He made these remarks during his vetting in Ghana’s parliament.

Buah stressed that all land transactions must be done transparently and for appropriate value, ensuring that the people of Ghana receive fair compensation.

He also advocated for re-evaluating and selling land at market value when the purpose for which it was acquired changes.
