Offinso North: DCE aspirant cites youth unemployment as d security threat, pledge s action

Caesar Ofosu Acheampong, former parliamentary candidate for the Offinso North constituency and current aspirant for District Chief Executive (DCE), has pledged to make youth unemployment his top priority.
He has committed to addressing the growing issue of joblessness among the young people in the area.
Acheampong voiced his concern over the high rates of unemployment, stating that it poses a potential security risk to the constituency. He assured constituents that if appointed DCE, he would actively work to create meaningful employment opportunities for young people.
Acheampong also promised to empower the youth to create their own jobs and support the government’s 24-hour economy initiative. “I will make sure that the youth within the area are empowered to create more employment opportunities,” he said.
He is among eleven aspirants vying for the Offinso North DCE position, and he was part of the first batch of 200 aspirants who underwent vetting. Acheampong expressed his hope of being selected by John Dramani Mahama as the next DCE.
