Kyerematen aide praises Mahama’s Ministerial picks after vetting, expresses hope in their leadership:

Nana Yaw Sarpong, a political aide to Alan Kyerematen, has offered his assessment of President Mahama’s first three ministerial appointments following their recent vetting hearings.
Nana Yaw Sarpong specifically praised the nominees: Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson (Finance), John Jinapor (Energy), and Dominic Ayine (Attorney General), for their performances during their vetting sessions.
Sarpong commended Dr. Ato Forson’s selection as Finance Minister, highlighting his strong academic credentials, as well as his relevant experience in the finance sector, noting his past roles in relevant committee work and his service as a deputy minister. Sarpong added that Dr. Forson’s past stance against the E-Levy is indicative of his decisive approach to fiscal policy.
He also applauded the appointment of John Jinapor as Energy Minister, emphasizing his practical experience in the sector. Sarpong said that Jinapor’s history in the field, makes him perfectly suitable for the position.
Finally, Sarpong recognized the intellect and legal knowledge of Dominic Ayine, the Attorney General-designate, expressing confidence that he would address crucial human rights issues by using the case of Gregoria Foucault as a reference point.
