The recent Ghanaian presidential election has ignited a bitter feud between Blind Historian Bulgaria and Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah.
Bulgaria vehemently refutes Owusu Bempah’s claims of prophetic influence on the outcome, asserting that former President John Dramani Mahama’s victory was solely due to his own efforts and the support of his father.
Bulgaria accused Owusu Bempah of a calculated U-turn, initially predicting Mahama’s defeat before swiftly endorsing him after the election results became apparent. He suggested this was an attempt to avoid being proven wrong, highlighting the fact that Owusu Bempah’s close friend lost his own parliamentary bid despite the supposed prophetic powers.
“I will expose Owusu Bempah’s secrets,” Bulgaria declared. “He predicted Mahama’s loss and then, fearing disgrace, endorsed him. No prophet secured Mahama’s win; it was his hard work and his father’s blessings.”
This public clash between the two figures shows no sign of abating, promising a continuing public dispute over the role of prophecy in the election’s outcome.
