Bryan Acheampong's Campaign Spokesperson Claims GH¢5 Million Donation to Kennedy Agyapong After Primaries
Pius Enam Hadzide, Campaign Spokesperson for NPP Flagbearer hopeful Bryan Acheampong, has stated that Bryan Acheampong provided GH¢5 million to Kennedy Agyapong following the NPP primaries.
During an interview on Asempa FM, Hadzide, while highlighting Bryan Acheampong’s unifying qualities, claimed that Agyapong was initially reluctant to campaign after the primaries. He stated that Acheampong persuaded Agyapong to participate in the 2024 election campaign and provided him with GH¢5 million in financial support.
According to Hadzide, Acheampong recognized that Agyapong “had just come out of a contest, so maybe you’re not financially strong.”
Hadzide emphasized that Acheampong has a good relationship with other NPP figures, including Dr. Bawumia and Kennedy Agyapong. He asserted that Acheampong would be able to unite the party if elected flagbearer. “He has not said that if he doesn’t win, he will stay in the party and frustrate him.”
