I challenge you to provide evidence of a meeting where Ashanti NPP MPs rejected interchange”- Osei Kyei Mensah dares Gabby Otchere Darko:
Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu Denies NPP MPs Rejected Flyovers in Ashanti Region

Former Majority Leader Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu has refuted claims made by NPP stalwart Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko that New Patriotic Party (NPP) Members of Parliament from the Ashanti Region expressed a preference for community roads over flyovers and interchanges.
In a recent interview on UTV, Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu stated that he was never present at any meeting where such comments were made.
He emphasized his extensive experience as Majority Leader during the Akufo-Addo administration and his leadership role within the government and the NPP, particularly in the Ashanti Region.
“He said he has been in meetings where the statement he made was said. What I want him to tell us is the meeting he is referring to. Where did the said meeting happen?” Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu questioned, challenging Otchere-Darko to provide details about the alleged meetings.
The former MP for Suame Constituency highlighted the ongoing efforts by NPP ministers and MPs from the Ashanti Region to advocate for flyovers and interchanges. He cited the Suame Interchange as an example, which is part of a larger inner-city circle project that has been under discussion since President Kufuor’s era.
“So, I don’t understand why Gabby would go and stand somewhere to say that we said we don’t want interchanges,” Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu added, emphasizing the historical commitment to infrastructure development in the region.
