“I’d be the biggest fool to enter court marriage, men who do it die prematurely – Prophet Kumchacha

Controversial Ghanaian Prophet and social media personality, Nicholas Osei, widely known as Prophet Kumchacha, has declared that the most foolish mistake he could ever make would be to marry a woman under the ordinance (court marriage).
According to him, he would be “a big fool to invest his money into a court marriage,” comparing it to “committing suicide by hanging himself” within the confines of such an arrangement.
Explaining his position, the controversial man of God stated that court marriage often ensnares people, especially men, in a dangerous and restrictive situation. He cited polygamous marriage as an example, arguing that men who want to marry more than one wife often find themselves entangled by a foreign concept after subscribing to the constraints of court marriage.
Discussing the circumstances surrounding musician Daddy Lumba’s marriage amid his current legal battles, on UTV entertainment show on Saturday evening, as monitored by Newspalacegh.com, the man of God, who believes in polygamy, asserted that if Daddy Lumba hadn’t married his first wife under the ordinance, he would have been free to marry as many wives as he desired adding that his 2nd wife wouldn’t have been dragged to court as we are witnessing now.
The controversial man of God further claimed that many men limited in marriage due to court marriage die prematurely from incessant pressure.
“It is very sad that after this marriage, your wife, perfectly knowing that you’re going to die very soon due to pressure, will begin to ask when you are doing a will for her future and the children. Most of the men who are in single marriages die early due to pressure, and this is a very sad thing which shouldn’t happen to any man,” he said.
Kumchacha emphatically declared his support for polygamy, stating that he would surely marry an additional wife if he were blessed with sufficient financial resources. He revealed that men who marry many wives mostly live longer as compared to those who are limited by court marriages.
“For me to marry under the ordinance, I will be a big fool. That’s my own stand; I don’t speak for anyone. No one should take me out of context, this is my view. I am also not against people who marry more than one wife,” he said.
