Lady found dead in boyfriend’s room at Seikwa, police launch serious investigation

A 27-year-old woman, identified as Serwaa, was found dead at her boyfriend’s residence in Seikwa, Tain District of the Bono Region, shortly after arriving for a visit. According to local reports, the boyfriend, whose name has not been released, discovered Serwaa unresponsive in a chair after he went to take a bath.

He subsequently reported the incident to the police and is currently being held while investigations are conducted. Serwaa’s body has been transferred to Berekum, her hometown, for an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

Authorities are awaiting formal authorization from Serwaa’s father to proceed with the autopsy.
