“I can’t stay anymore with parents who don’t show love”- Boy missing after leaving heartbreaking notes for parents:

Residents of Efiakuma in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis of the Western Region are in shock after a 16-year-old boy disappeared from his home on Sunday, September 7, 2025, leaving behind a distressing note accusing his parents of a lack of love.
According to the source, the incident occurred while the boy’s family was attending church services. The teenager, identified as Emma, declined to join them at church. Upon their return, the family discovered he was missing, along with a handwritten letter detailing his reasons for leaving.
“He was supposed to go with us to church, but he refused,” his mother explained. “When we returned, we found he was gone. He left a note saying we don’t love him, but we love him so much. We are pleading with the public to help us find him. We want him to come back home.”
The note, addressed to his parents, read: “Daddy, Mummy, I really love you and appreciate you for what you have done for me. But you don’t love me. I cannot stay with you anymore, and I’m leaving this letter behind because I want you to know that I have left home. I’m not lost, so don’t look for me, and I will never return. God will take care of me, so I’m saying goodbye to you all. Thank you. This is me, Emma.”
The letter has caused immense distress to the family, with the mother emphasizing their deep love for their son and continuing to plead for his safe return.
The case has been reported to the police, who have initiated a search for the teenager. The family is also appealing to the public for any information that could help locate Emma.
