Fake Visa Scam: Man Arrested for Defrauding Over 50 Victims of $420 Million:

The Kasoa police have arrested a suspect, identified as Dr. Patrick Kwesi Doomson, for allegedly defrauding multiple individuals of over $420 million under the guise of securing American visas.
According to the complainant, Mr Jeff, he met Dr. Patrick Kwesi Doomson in 2020 and paid the sum of money trusting that he would help him and his family obtain visas. However, the suspect repeatedly postponed the travel dates and eventually stopped responding.
Mr Jeff claimed that Dr. Patrick Doomson had promised to secure visas, Immigration recruitment, police recruitment, soldier recruitment, DNA test, doctor certificate, nursing school certificate for 23 people, including himself, and collected huge sums of money from them. The victims reported the case to the police, leading to Dr. Patrick Doomson’s arrest despite several attempts to evade capture.
Shockingly, over 50 victims have come forward with similar complaints, alleging that Dr. Patrick Doomson had been perpetrating this scam for a long time. The complainant is now seeking public assistance to cope with the financial struggles he and his family are facing.
Dr. Patrick Doomson has been remanded in custody and is expected to appear in court. The public is encouraged to report any further instances of fraud involving the suspect.
