EKAJ Foundation boosts education in Asante Akyem South with massive school donations:
The EKAJ Educational Fund has made a significant contribution to education in the Ashanti Akim South Municipality with donations of study desks and ceiling fans to the Kyempo Faith Junior High School and the Banso Presbyterian Senior High School.
Mr. Eric Amofa, Founder of the EKAJ Educational Fund, personally presented the items to the authorities of the two beneficiary schools. Kyempo Faith JHS received five brand new ceiling fans for their model classroom, commissioned last year, while Banso Presbyterian SHS received 20 study desks to support academic work.
According to Mr. Amofa, the donations were made in fulfillment of a promise he made to the schools during their inauguration.
This is not the first time that the EKAJ Educational Fund has supported education in the Asante Akyem South Municipality. In addition to providing scholarships to needy but brilliant students at the SHS and tertiary levels, the Foundation has also supplied over 5,000 exercise books to all 10 secondary schools in the area. The Foundation also donated 50 bags of cement to Dampong SHS for the construction of a girls’ hostel.
Mr. Amofa emphasized that the EKAJ Educational Fund is committed to providing ongoing support to needy students, especially those in deprived communities, to help them realize their full potential.
He called on chiefs and people, especially influential individuals and organizations both within and outside the Municipality, to embrace the Foundation and contribute to its growth and sustainability.
The EKAJ Educational Fund was established in 2023 by Mr. Eric Amofa with a seed amount of GHC100,000. His primary goal is to provide equal opportunity to all needy young people in the Asante Akyem South Municipality to access secondary and tertiary education.
