NPP bans public discussion of internal disputes in the media:

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has issued a strict directive to its members, forbidding them from publicly airing internal disputes and grievances, particularly through media outlets.
The order, intended to foster unity and discipline within the party following recent electoral setbacks, was announced in a statement released Wednesday, March 20th, by General Secretary Justin Kodua Frimpong.
The statement acknowledged the disappointment felt by many party members, but emphasized that airing internal disagreements in public only serves to create “unrest, negativism, and disaffection.” It references Article 3(5) of the NPP Constitution, which mandates members to protect and defend the party’s reputation.
Citing his authority under Article 10(7)(5) of the Party’s Constitution, General Secretary Frimpong directed all party members to cease discussing sensitive internal matters in the media and on related platforms.
The directive places the onus on party leadership at all levels – national, regional, and constituency to enforce the ban and to initiate disciplinary action against any member found in violation.
