Nana Ohene Ntow, a leading member of the Alan’s Movement for Change and former General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has commended the Operation Recover All Loots (ORAL) team for promoting transparency and accountability.

According to Nana Ohene Ntow, the ORAL initiative has helped to provide real information and evidence, replacing speculation and suspicion that often surrounded allegations of wrongdoing in the past.

The former general secretary noted that individuals accused of misconduct by the ORAL team have the right to defend themselves in court, emphasizing that accountability is a two-way street.

He expressed disappointment with the opposition’s reaction to the ORAL team, particularly the NPP minority, who have been trying to discredit the initiative and encourage the public to disregard it.

Nana Ohene Ntow urged the opposition to focus on more productive and beneficial endeavors, rather than trying to undermine the ORAL team’s efforts. He emphasized the need for constructive contributions to Ghana’s democratic process.

As a former General Secretary of the NPP and someone who established the Office of Accountability, Ntow believes the ORAL team is a step in the right direction towards promoting transparency and accountability in Ghana.
