Gospel musician admits to beheading girlfriend over cheating allegations:

Nigerian gospel singer Timileyin Ajayi has confessed to the murder and beheading of his 24-year-old girlfriend, Salome Adaidu, claiming her infidelity as the driving force behind the horrific act.
Ajayi was apprehended near a church in Orozo, a community bordering Nasarawa State and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), after being found with a sack containing Adaidu’s severed head. Upon his arrest, Ajayi reportedly admitted to the crime, expressing no remorse and explicitly stating that Adaidu “was always cheating” on him.
He claimed that this perceived infidelity led to a violent altercation after he discovered her communicating with another man, ultimately resulting in her death.
Church members became suspicious of Ajayi’s behavior during a service, observing him attempting to dispose of a black bag in a nearby river. When confronted, he fled, but was quickly apprehended by the watchful members of the congregation.
The Nasarawa State Police Command has taken Ajayi into custody, and an ongoing investigation is underway. The incident has sparked widespread outrage and grief across Nigeria, with many mourning the tragic loss of Adaidu and demanding justice be served.
