He then stated a plea for the new NDC government, under the leadership of His Excellence John Dramani Mahama, to focus on the welfare of the people, including the people of Ghana, and to eschew corruption and any practices that might hinder the nation’s progress. He stated that the government needs to embody good people who are hard working and focused on what God has given them the mandate to do.
“They should put in their best and serve Ghana,” Bishop Acquah stated, emphasizing that government should be “focused on what God has given them the mandate to come and do for us.” He reiterated the need for the government to promote righteousness and deliver the nation from evil.
He also touched on key issues of the day including the LGBT bill, matters of corruption, and tolerance within the government system.
Transitioning from governance to matters of faith, Bishop Acquah then highlighted details about the upcoming Great Kumasi Conference with Archbishop Agyen Asare. He announced that the conference is set to bring together believers from across the Ashanti region and beyond for a time of spiritual renewal and divine encounter.
Bishop Acquah said that the Archbishop is expecting an intense moment of prayer and miracles. He said that this would also be a time for people to “believe God also for the future and for the unknown in the year 2025.”
While the main focus of the interview was the upcoming Greater Kumasi Conference and good governance, Bishop Acquah emphasized the importance of the gospel message and the transformative power of faith. He explained that the church can be a source of hope and change in society.
Bishop Acquah also shared plans for the “Festival of Miracles 2025” that was launched by Rev. Dr. Frimpong. He made the call for anyone who is discouraged in life to come and partake of the blessing. He shared that many miracles, and undeniable proof that Jesus is Lord will be seen at the event.
