A pro NPP Prophet, Paul Kusi Appiah, known as the Warrior -Prophet and founder of Nyametease Ampa Prayer Ministry in Kumasi, has announced that he and others will embark on a period of fasting and prayer, with the goal of helping the New Patriotic Party (NPP) regain power from the incoming National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration.
Speaking in an interview on Wontumi TV on December 23, 2024, Prophet Appiah stated that while he believes God initially intended for the NPP’s presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, to win the 2024 elections, God changed the outcome to prevent a potential war in the country.
“Even though God’s voice was heard clearly that the NPP presidential candidate Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia would win the 2024 presidential elections, God realized that if that materialized, there would be a war in the country,” he explained.
Prophet Appiah also asserted that because God is supreme, His image needs to be redeemed, implying that the current election outcome was not the divine will.
