Ditching Bawumia will be the worst mistake, past NPP candidates took multiple attempts- Napo to critics:

Following the NPP’s defeat in the 2024 elections, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh (NAPO) has defended Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, against calls for a change in leadership.

Napo pointed out that no NPP flagbearer has ever won on their first attempt, citing President Akufo-Addo’s three bids for the presidency. He questioned, “Why ditch Dr. Bawumia?”

Former President John Mahama secured victory with 6,328,397 votes compared to Bawumia’s 4,657,304 votes. The NDC also gained a parliamentary majority.
